Celebrating International Women’s Day!
Celebrating International Women’s Day with a look back to March 2017 and a personal picture of “Fearless Girl” near Wall Street. This was just a year after our firm, Lenity Financial, Inc., was created, a woman-owned business.
According to American Express, “The State of Women-Owned Businesses, 2019”, today there are nearly 13 million women-owned businesses in the United States. And, the growth has been tremendous in the past few years climbing 21% from 2014 to 2019. In that same period more people were employed with employment growing by 8% to 9.4 million. And importantly, so did revenues, up 21% to $1.9 trillion.
Here’s to more and more women becoming “Fearless”!
